Currently (2025-10-23):

• Started “As intermitências da morte”
• Started and finished “O Homem Duplicado”
• Have been trying to help with bugs in flang (issue)
• Helped with a small patch for sclang mode (pull request)
• Played and Finished the main game of Outer Wilds, it’s amazing!
• Finished “homenagem à catalunha”
• Have been to Romania (specifically Bucharest)

Thoughts:

A lot of time has passed since the last now/ update, (a year). This is largely due to my need of chaining dependencies for any simple task. When I add a line to this page saying I finished a book, for example, my head always drifts to the idea of also having a separate linked post with the photograph of the book’s cover and a paragraph expressing my feeling towards the work. Finding the ideal photograph, re-sizing it, choosing a good format, dithering/or not, writing my thoughts, editing what I wrote, and many other tasks, suddenly materializes on top of “writing a single line saying I finished reading a book”. The concept has a name: yak shaving, and it is indeed sort of a huge problem in my life… For now/ I am setting the goal of avoiding this behaviour at all costs by accepting that anything I write here can be edited, improved upon or extended later!

• Started and Finished reading Jane Austen’s Persuasion.
• Dropped “The Hundred Years’ War on Palestine” (for now…)
• Found a stable place to sleep and live (for now at least).
• Finally managed to rest properly and recover strength.

• My online presence is on hold while I search for a place in Barcelona.
• Moved out of Salamanca… feeling very nostalgic.
• Still on loops and things are performing well.. (until now).
• Hylics is kind of in standby, but want to go back to the game.
• Dropped Emma’s book for now to read “The Hundred Years’ War on Palestine”.

• Doing some stats on the loop optimization pass I have been working on.
• Currently playing Hylics (really, really good game).
• Currently reading “Feminism and anarchism” by Emma Goldman.
• Finished reading “Ensaio sobre a lucidez” by Saramago.
